Hello

I can't begin to describe how BIG this song is right now.  Even after hearing it 30x a day, when it comes on and you're dancing with girlfriends, dressed up, vodka tonic in hand- its amazing.  Can't deny it??  What would you wear to dance to this song??

seasonal inspiration

Getting dressed in the morning here is like a big game of "guess how not warm it is going to be today"!  I don't know how to convert celsius and I have figured out I am terrible at looking outside for a prediction.  Here are some of my go-to inspirational pics for milder temps.  Tights have become my friend pre AW11  xx

studio shooting

I was lucky enough to pull Tramp In Disguise for my female model, and ended up putting it on my male model, too.  The theme was "Nature Couture" so I wanted a colorful, floral look that was clean and vibrant.  Here are the images untouched...so as soon as they are fixed up I'll repost.  We danced around and had Eagles of Death Metal going in the studio...literally best day yet.

Isabella:  menswear cotton blouse, Banana Republic; silk trousers, sweater, silver chain link jewelry, Tramp in Disguise; blue woven bangles, Top Shop; pumps, Primark

Dillon: tank, jeans, Zara; Jacket, Tramp in Disguise; shoes, Debenhams

meet me at the hotel room

Yes, that was a Pitbull song reference.  Actual shot images to be coming soon! Heres a few snaps from behind the scenes.  The Canizaro House was absolute, stunning-I-die status, and the model was phenomenal.  Starting at 700 quid per night, I doubt I'll be making my way back for a stay, but the day with LCS, models, hair/makeup and photographers was such fun.  Studio shoots happened today, and I couldn't be happier.  More of those snaps soon!!

Music Monday

Getting ready for tomorrow- you must become as obsessed with this tune as I am.  NOW

Tourist(ing)

Fighting the wind and rain to see British culture= bad hair and nasty blisters.  No worries, I am rewarding myself with a chocolate croissant that has 900 million calories in it right now.
This week's round UP:
Shoot prep has been in full swing, and we start at 9am tomorrow, more updates on that ASAP!
Friday came quickly and we had goodbye drinks for a co-worker around Heddon House and then was my first Soho experience, which can be summed up with this video.  We got our gay on.

Be-A-Tourist Sunday happened (after the amazing Italian date in Angel last night) and we took in a viewing of St. Pauls and the London Bridge area after browsing the flower market in Shoreditch (hence the gerbers in hand).  I enjoy the weekends sooo much, too bad they go so quickly!  xx

shoot prep

LCS has been flying by, and Monday and Tuesday are our first shoots.  We have been given themes for both a location and studio spread.  My ideas have become overwhelming, but the better the flow the better the image outcomes!  Moodboards were made for the first shoot which is based around a lovers quarrel on location in a hotel, and my model duo will be in the middle of making up.  So far I have a vintage kimono and she'll later sport his button down.  Flowers and wine is always the best "I'm sorry".

inspiration, but less jewels and frill

As for the studio shoot, nature couture will be set and I was lucky enough to pull clothes from a local agency.  I'm thinking futuristic florals and a dash of Erdem meets Givenchy.  The jacket is hooded, maybe mix that with the satin trousers.  The long sleeve high neck jersey dress is so major, and the cut out body con is equally as brilliant.  Lets see how this rolls.
my picks

my inspiration

I already know this isn't going to be Rachel Zoe on the beach with Demi, a magical staircase and giraffe, but it'll be close.  Images promised as soon as next week comes!   xx
