Christian Louboutin has designed a pair of eight inch stilettos in the form of ballerina pointe shoes.  Adorned with Swarovski crystals, the beige heels were inspired and designed for the English National Ballet.  After being on display, the footwear was auctioned off in Kensington Garden last night.

I know it is a bit early in this heat to think about the need for warmth in the cooler months, but I can't help to enjoy See by Chloe's Fall look book.  Being one of my top five favorite contemporary brands, it seems I am always coveting just about every single look.  With the open knit sweater and structured menswear trousers, another fall has been nailed.        xx

Since I'm about to pack up and make the move, I have been cleaning out my closet here and there.  I also taught myself how to use Ebay, so I've been posting things I don't need or want.  I highly recommend using Ebay because being free of clutter feels great, and vintage finds along with good deals are very nice, too.  Heres what I've got going on Ebay this week        xx

Amen Fashion

Lady Gaga brought us to church a few nights ago with her turquoise wig and major monster boot/shoes at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards. Along with Mother M, Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, Pheobe Philo, Marc Jacobs and a few others were awarded with CFDA awards. It is also called the prom of fashion insiders, and I couldn't wait to see what everyone was wearing for the big evening. The best part of the night was not the clothes, but Lady Gaga's acceptance speach:

"When Vogue's Anna Wintour sent her a text message informing her she'd been chosen, Gaga recounted, she at first thought the text was from a different Anna and wrote back, "Yes, Bitch, we did it." After the room quieted down, the "Born This Way" singer went on to say that she tried to carry a rat into Alice Tully Hall as a tribute to New York City, but wasn't allowed to bring him in. "My rat's name is Black Jesus," she said, "And he asked me to tell everyone he said, 'Amen fashion.'"

Rachel Zoe Reort 2012

My fashion savior, and own personal messiah, has released her lookbook for her second collection which is Resort 2011.  Yes, some suggest Zoe is stylist clone, only making clients and celebutanties exact replicas of herself and own personal style.  She was also "feeding them Mexican horse tranquilizers and supplying them with Colombian cocaine" so they remain skinny.  WHO CARES.  I, for one, am absolutely enamored by her high waisted wide leg flairs, over sized sunglasses and 70s inspired whimsical, but structured dresses.  Bandwagon or not,  I have loved the shit out of her since she got on the scene styling for Nicole, Mischa and even Britney.  Resort 2011 is very major, bananas and all of the above Zoeisms.  Out of the almost thirty looks, I think all are sensible and extremely wearable--even though Zoe herself isn't the hot pink type.  xx
