Costume Institute Gala 2011 featuring Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

And we are off.  Here are a few of the fashion lovin' folks upon arrival tonight.  I'm going to be categorizing them by: 'LOVE', 'you tried too hard/BSE' (aka better suited elsewhere) and 'this is major'.  I will not say that anything is ugly/bad/ick, only bothersome because this is sensational, give me goosebumps kind of wearable art my frands.  I also do not necessarily enjoy all of the chosen ones in the 'this is major category', but they need credit where it's effing due.  Stella McCartney was a hot ticket to wear (almost every favorite I had chosen pranced in the exquisite Brit) , but the real stunners were in old and new McQueen designs.  My personal faves are starred.  Now, this is what (my) dreams are made of.    xx
